We can remotely configure a Yealink using the new provisioning server in the Jet Hub.
Before starting this process, you will need to have the following information collected:
- Device model (eg: T31G, W60B, etc)
- Device MAC number
- Device Serial number
These details ill be on the back of the device you are setting up, or on the back of the base station for a cordless handset.
Registering the phone in Jet Hub
Head to the Phone System section and click on "VIEW ALL".

Then scroll down to the bottom and you will see Yealink phone. Click on Yealink Phone.

Click on " ADD PHONE" in the top right corner.

Enter the specifications of this device (should be collected from the customer or device prior to beginning this setup) and give the device a name (optional but recommended).

Once the details are entered, fit save. The new device with all the details will appear as below:

Assign a device to a Phone User
Navigate to Phone Users, under the Phone System menu.

Click the Edit pencil next to the phone user you would like to add the phone to.
Note - this user must not be in Pending status.

At the bottom of your configuration, enable the option for Yealink Phone. You will see a list of available devices and can use the name you gave your device in stage 1 to find and allocate that device to this user.

Save the configuration.
If this phone was being configured from a factory reset, it should instantly come online. If it does not, please ask the client to power cycle the device by disconnecting the device from power & internet, waiting 30 seconds, then reconnecting to both.
If the device is not connected to the internet, the client must address this first. The device will automatically pick up the new details when the device connects.
